So it went: what was meant to be would come in time; what was not, could not be forced.
Sean had met Snape in his first year and obtained his spell notes, yet he had not learned a single one of Snape's self-created spells.
He had even secretly searched the Potions classroom used by the upper years, but failed to find the Potions textbook once used by the Half-Blood Prince.
And now, the person teaching him Sectumsempra had become Daisy...
The world truly was a marvelous place... That was all Sean could say.
After arranging to meet Daisy in the Room of Requirement after classes the next day, the two sat close together at the long table and talked for quite some time.
When Professor McGonagall announced the end of the opening feast, which had lasted until midnight, Sean got up to leave. Not only did he receive countless stares from the students, but he also received a chilling gaze capable of giving anyone nightmares.
Snape had barely eaten anything all evening. The bottle of red wine in his hand was practically about to crack from all the shaking, yet hardly any of it had been drunk.
However, when Snape was staring at Sean, he happened to meet Daisy's eyes. She cheerfully waved at him, and Snape immediately began awkwardly straightening his collar.
Sean was rather curious now. Snape had actually gone to the Potter household—who knew what they had talked about? He even occasionally wondered whether the Potter couple had made Snape Daisy's godfather.
It did not seem entirely impossible...
Snape's favoritism toward Daisy came entirely from the face she had inherited from her Little White Flower mother. And Snape had loved only one person in his life, though it had been an unattainable love...
Sean shook his head.
