Stephanie rested her head on Sean's arm. Her smooth shoulder shifted restlessly, and hesitation appeared on her face.
Sean found it a little strange. By all rights, the position of teaching assistant at Hogwarts suited Stephanie quite well. Though she had a cool and aloof personality, she had no trouble communicating, nor was she socially anxious—she simply had no interest in interacting with people.
However, whenever necessary, Stephanie's ability to organize her thoughts, reason logically, and so on was exceptionally sharp. At the same time, her naturally expressionless face and even tone gave her words an unexpectedly high degree of persuasiveness.
This had already been evident when Sean organized the summer camp, and it was also one reason he believed Stephanie could make a good teaching assistant—the young wizards who had attended the camp and later joined Golden Dawn were all outstanding among their peers. They all trusted Stephanie, saving her the time it would take to establish a professor's authority.
