Unicorn's Super Gift

The air rippled apart, and the silver light gradually faded, revealing the figures within.

They were two tall Unicorns, with slender limbs and manes as white as pearls. Overall, they looked like especially tall white horses.

One of the larger Unicorns slowly paced closer. Its spiraled horn bore clockwise patterns, with faint scars visible upon it—Sean knew this was the mark of a male Unicorn.

The leading male Unicorn restlessly pawed at the ground. It could sense the familiarity emanating from Sean, yet it had never seen him before, leaving it confused and anxious.

Sean knew he could not rush things. He did not approach, merely smiled and raised his hands to show that he was not holding a wand.

Sure enough, upon seeing his gesture, both male Unicorns calmed down considerably.

"Hey, buddy, I mean no harm," Sean said softly. "I just need your help with something."

Unicorns were highly intelligent, and Sean possessed the ability of a Beast Speaker, so they would certainly understand what he was saying.

The leading Unicorn gave a gentle snort, looking far more elegant than an ordinary horse.

"Neigh—"

The Unicorn's cry sounded somewhat like a horse's, but lighter and more ethereal.

Sean understood what it meant. "How did you find this place?"

"A Centaur brought me here," Sean answered truthfully.

"Neigh—(Then that means you are a human worthy of trust...)"

The Unicorn truly was highly intelligent, immediately understanding Sean's meaning.

"Neigh—(Human, what do you need help with?)"

Over the years, Sean had dealt with so many Magical Creatures that he had learned one important lesson: never lie to a Magical Creature that was friendly toward you. It would often backfire.
