Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, nestled in the Scottish Highlands, could roughly be seen as a combination of four major areas.

The main Hogwarts Castle, the Black Lake, Hogsmeade, and the Forbidden Forest—the largest and most dangerous of the four.

Other than skilled Magical Creature experts such as Newt and Hagrid, or immensely powerful wizards such as Dumbledore and Grindelwald, this lush forest essentially barred all outsiders from entering.

And deeper still, even former headmaster Professor Dumbledore would not dare claim that he had fully explored the entire Forbidden Forest.

Sean's destination this time was the side of the Forbidden Forest's deepest reaches closest to the mountains, and there he saw the trial he was about to face.

"What the hell is that..." Sean stared in disbelief at the... creature before him?

Maybe it was a creature...?

It was an enormous circular mouth, large enough to swallow the entire Hogwarts Great Hall. Sharp teeth covered its rim, as though some terrifying worm had been enlarged in perfect proportion.

It was like a mouth had risen from beneath the ground without swallowing what had been inside it, leaving everything where it was.

Why did Sean think it was a creature? Because great globs of saliva dripped from the edge of the mouth, corroding the surrounding ground into a sickly green.

The bizarre sight made Sean frown.

The skull belonging to a Unicorn other than the first-generation Unicorns glimmered faintly, reminding Sean that he had indeed reached the site of Gryffindor's Trial.

"Is this some Monster that woke up? Or is it just a gatekeeper?" Sean wrinkled his nose and raised his wand
