Completely unlike the lively, adorable Daisy Potter he remembered, the girl who emerged from the shadows had cold eyes and an air that kept strangers at a distance.
There was blood on Daisy's face as well. She seemed to have just Apparated back from another battlefield.
"What luck... I caught a big fish..." Barty Jr. froze for a moment, then narrowed his eyes in delighted surprise.
"Boss, don't worry about us! Get out of here!" Niya, trapped in the cage, shouted anxiously.
Daisy said nothing. She merely raised her wand and aimed it at Barty Jr.
Barty Jr. grinned excitedly, his smile twisted and crazed. "Today is my lucky day—forget those other brats. Daisy Potter must be captured!"
At his command, all the Ministry of Magic wizards rushed into the wrecked room. In an instant, countless spells howled toward Daisy.
Daisy was not flustered. She seemed to have seen plenty of scenes like this.
With a flick of her wand, a transparent barrier blocked everyone's spells. Smoke and dust from the explosions obscured the room.
"Watch your flanks! Teams of three!" Barty Jr. roared. "This little girl knows a unique Teleportation Spell."

Daisy kept teleporting through the smoke, firing spells at enemies from tricky angles now and then.
