My Sister Is Definitely a Genius!

When Hermione came downstairs for breakfast, her expression was as normal as ever, as though nothing had happened last night.

Sean noticed that she seemed to have put on a little light makeup, probably to cover up the matching dark circles under her eyes—Hermione really had not slept well...

Daisy and Ayla came downstairs a while later, yawning. When the little flower saw Sean, she instinctively drew her clothes tighter over her chest, her cheeks flushing slightly. She did not notice anything unusual about Hermione, though.

Only little Ayla was completely normal. The moment she had recovered her energy, she immediately started pestering her two older sisters to teach her magic again.

At the warm invitation of Mr. and Mrs. Wallop, Hermione and Daisy did not leave until after lunch.

When it was time to part, Sean had originally wanted to say a few things to Hermione, but the girl briskly shut the car door, acting as if she did not know him.

Sean could only awkwardly pretend that nothing had happened—Hermione being angry right now was perfectly normal. He just needed to give her more time...

Christmas break ended even faster than Sean had expected. Apart from one day spent going out with Hermione and Daisy, he had basically whiled away the rest of the time at home.

It was not as though there were no parties or friends to go out and have fun with. Sean simply preferred spending the rare holiday with his family.

There was no need to do anything unforgettable. Just peacefully enjoying the warmth of family was enough. That was what he needed most.

During that time, Sean sent Hermione quite a few text messages, but she never answered when he called her. He had given all three girls phones.
