Background / History

Ning Rongrong is Ning Fengzhi's daughter and initially possessed the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda. As an infant, she stopped crying and smiled as soon as Mu Yu held her, beginning their unusually close sisterly bond. 15

Although raised as the sect's pampered young princess, Rongrong listens to Mu Yu more readily than to anyone else in the sect. Mu Yu gave her the Aromatic Silk Beauty for her seventh birthday; after absorbing it, Rongrong's Martial Soul evolved into the Nine Treasures Glazed Tile Pagoda. Ning Fengzhi subsequently announced the change and renamed the sect the Nine Treasure Glazed Tile School. 20 22

Rongrong entered Heaven Dou Royal Academy alongside Mu Yu. At Ning Fengzhi's request, Mu Yu began training her physical fitness and Soul Power, while Xiao Mo enforced the regimen when Mu Yu left for Sea God Island. A year of this training raised Rongrong to level 25 at age eight. 22 24 25

At age twelve, Rongrong travelled to Shrek Academy, where she befriended Zhu Zhuqing. She objected when Shrek's registration policy cheated a family of its money, fought Dai Mubai in defense of the family, and was protected from Li Yusong by Xiao Mo. 29 30

Personality

Rongrong is affectionate, expressive, and strongly attached to Mu Yu; she openly calls her “Big Sister” and eagerly seeks her attention, gifts, food, and approval. She is also sociable and quickly forms a close friendship with Zhu Zhuqing. 22 30 31

She has a spoiled and food-conscious side, complaining about Shrek Academy's meals and initially resisting Mu Yu's harsh exercise routine. However, she responds well to encouragement and steadily commits herself to training when promised the strength to overcome Assault System Soul Masters. 25 32

Rongrong also possesses a clear sense of fairness. She intervenes when Shrek Academy attempts to retain an unfair registration fee and refuses to ignore the family being mistreated. 30

Mu Yu's Training
