Li Ang changed Tang San’s path, built up the Xiao Clan, and made Zhu Zhuqing his disciple while giving her an Evil Eye White Tiger. At Shrek Academy, Zhu Zhuqing attacked Dai Mubai, but Tang San saved him, and the group proceeded to the fourth assessment.

• Li Ang sold Tang San the Sunflower Manual and Evil-warding Divine Sword, then sold Xiao Chenyu the Demonic Dismemberment Technique and watched Tang San’s duel with him.
• Xiao Chenyu used the technique to cripple Tang San, while Li Ang gained system rewards, restored his youth and strength, and later healed Xiao Chenyu in exchange for the Xiao Clan’s allegiance.
• Li Ang secretly reported Tang Hao to Spirit Hall, supported the Xiao Clan through the following years, and later sold Zhu Zhuqing an antique hairpin that concealed his presence.
• Li Ang revealed himself to Zhu Zhuqing, became her master, and used the Six Paths Reincarnation Great Array to give her an Evil Eye White Tiger as her Second Soul Spirit.
• Zhu Zhuqing reached Shrek Academy and found Dai Mubai with Tang San, whom Li Ang explained had become more powerful and feminine after cultivating the Sunflower Manual and Evil-warding Divine Sword.
• After Dai Mubai lunged at Zhu Zhuqing, Li Ang took control of her body and stabbed him with a venomous dagger, but Tang San used Realgar Wine to neutralize the poison.
• Zhao Wuji forbade Zhu Zhuqing and Dai Mubai from fighting on academy grounds, exempted Zhu Zhuqing, Tang San, Xiao Wu, and Ning Rongrong from two assessments, and sent them toward the fourth assessment.

Li Ang trained Zhu Zhuqing and Ning Rongrong, helping them grow stronger before Shrek Academy set out for the Star Dou Great Forest. Bu Le’s hired mercenaries ambushed the group, and Ma Xiu cut Zhao Wuji in two while the students tried to escape.

• Zhao Wuji tested Tang San, Xiao Wu, Zhu Zhuqing, and Ning Rongrong, and they passed after Zhu Zhuqing’s poisoned dagger and Li Ang’s intervention brought him down.
• Li Ang sent Zhu Zhuqing into a Death Duel, where she killed her opponent but suffered a poisoned wound before leaving with her winnings.
• After Dai Mubai threatened Ning Rongrong, Li Ang took her as his disciple and trained her in combat skills, while Zhu Zhuqing continued dangerous training of her own.
• Li Ang gave Ning Rongrong the Tulip of Qiluo, transforming her martial soul into the Nine Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda, while Zhu Zhuqing reached rank thirty.
• Flender sent Zhao Wuji and the students toward the Star Dou Great Forest to obtain Third Soul Rings for Oscar, Ning Rongrong, and Zhu Zhuqing, while Bu Le and his allies pursued them.
• At an inn near the forest, Ma Xiu and the Black Beast Mercenary Group used a suppression field and anesthetic to ambush Shrek Academy, but Li Ang secretly freed his disciples and Tang San distributed an antidote.
• Bu Le’s group attacked the students as Zhao Wuji fought Ma Xiu, and Zhao Wuji ordered the Shrek Seven Devils to flee.
• Ma Xiu used Extreme Style Swordsmanship: Mountain Split to cut Zhao Wuji in two while the suppression field weakened him.

Li Ang killed Er Ming, gained his Hundred Thousand Year Soul Ring and Soul Bone, and joined Heavenly Water Academy as a teacher. As Shrek Academy struggled to qualify for the tournament, Li Ang led Heavenly Water’s students into the Far North to train and hunt for Soul Rings.

• Ma Xiu killed Zhao Wuji, while Ye Zhiqiu and Bu Le attacked Dai Mubai and Ma Hongjun as the students fled in separate groups.
• Ma Xiu’s pursuit of Tang San, Xiao Wu, and Oscar ended in disaster when Er Ming attacked the mercenaries, killing Tian Ya before Li Ang confronted the Titan Giant Ape.
• Li Ang trapped Er Ming in Tsukuyomi, killed him, and took his Hundred Thousand Year Soul Ring, Soul Bone, and corpse before escaping the Star Dou Great Forest.
• Dai Mubai returned to Shrek Academy severely injured and told Flender that a Soul Sage had killed Zhao Wuji, prompting Flender to investigate.
• Li Ang visited Bai Chi at Heavenly Water Academy and secured a teaching position, then absorbed Er Ming’s Soul Ring into his Wolf Head Stick and gained new abilities.

Meanwhile, Shrek Academy struggled to secure tournament eligibility, and Tang San’s attempt to obtain herbs from the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well ended in a battle with the Black Beast Mercenary Group.

• Qiu Ruoshui absorbed a Phoenix Tail Silver Fish’s soul ring as Li Ang sensed an approaching threat and went to investigate.
• Li Ang fought off a vast soul beast horde, then sent Shui Bing’er and his clones to protect the academy girls while he followed a mysterious call into the Far North with Xue Wu.
• Li Ang and Xue Wu found an ancient Ice and Snow City, where Xue Wu’s inheritance began, but Li Ang interrupted it and took the divine statues and sparks into his Kamui Space.
• Tianmeng Iceworm attacked Li Ang over the stolen Ten Thousand Year Ice Marrow, and their battle collapsed the ice cave before the two continued fighting across the Ice Field.
• Prince Xue Xing nearly had Flender and the Shrek teachers arrested, but Ning Fengxing secured their release, and Shrek then gained a tournament opportunity through Liu Erlong’s Blue Tyrant Academy.
• Ma Hongjun returned to Shrek Academy after Bu Le and Xue Kao had altered his body and stripped him of his Soul Power, while Dugu Bo abducted Tang San.
• Snow Empress, Ice Empress, and the Titan Snow Demon King joined Tianmeng Iceworm, forcing Li Ang and Xue Wu to retreat as the Heavenly Water team set out for Heaven Dou City.
• Tang San persuaded Dugu Bo to take him to the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well for two poisonous herbs, but the Black Beast Mercenary Group detected them and opened fire.
