Knock, knock.
Himuro Jin, sitting in his cell, heard knuckles tapping against the wall. He looked up toward the sound and saw the scruffy, bearded Director Ushio standing outside his door, smiling in a way that sent a chill down his spine.
"Someone reported that you've hidden a weapon here."
Ushio said.
"A weapon?"
Himuro froze, frowning.
"How could I possibly have something like that?
"If that's the case, then search my room."
Ushio gave a sinister chuckle. "That won't be necessary."
As he spoke, he reached beneath Himuro's bedboard and quickly pulled out a sharp blade.
Himuro's expression changed drastically. He shot to his feet and roared, "You bastard!"
As the saying went, if someone wanted to accuse you, they would always find an excuse. By now, how could Himuro not understand that he had been framed?
He had heard of Director Ushio's notorious reputation back when he was in other Detention Centers. They said the man was exceptionally brutal, and whenever he was in a bad mood, he liked taking it out on the prisoners for amusement. But hearing about it was one thing; experiencing it firsthand was another. His limbs turned cold as he cursed inwardly without end.
But Himuro had barely risen from the bed before he could make any move. Two Security Officers leaped at him from behind, expertly twisting his arms behind his back and pinning him face-first to the floor.
"AAARGH—"
