The reason it had to be moved up was that Z-ONE had begun to feel threatened. The WRGP had originally been scheduled for a year later, but given the current situation, the enemy might not leave them that much time to prepare.
That also meant Yusei and the others needed to improve faster than they had in the Anime Timeline. They had less time left.
"The Three Emperors of Iliaster will all attend the tournament then,"

"They will be the main opponents faced by Fudo Yusei and his companions. Once Fudo Yusei crosses the obstacle known as the 'Synchro Killer,' he should be able to reach a new level more quickly."

Z-ONE paused, then looked at Kira again.

Kira raised an eyebrow. "You want me to step in again? Haven't I already fought them?"
