"'Number'?" Fubuki said. "What kind of monster is that? Only those of its own series can fight each other?"
"Exactly! Monsters that aren't 'Number' have no right to fight 'Number'!"
Mr. T was arrogant beyond measure.
"Maybe you defused this turn's attack, but without Xyz power—and without 'Number'—you can't defeat Sea Dragon!
I Set a Card. End Turn."
Kira remained unhurried. "Then it's My Turn. Draw a Card."
He drew, then casually revealed the card he had drawn.
"I activate the Spell Card 'Double Gate.' I Banish a card with the same name from the Graveyard and draw two cards from the Deck."
Another Double Gate rose from the Graveyard and was Banished above Kira. Kira drew two cards.
Mr. T said, "The activation cost you discarded for 'Karma Cut' last turn?"
After drawing, Kira played a Monster Card from his hand.
"I Normal Summon 'Black Bomb Ball.'"
A round black sphere appeared on the Field. It looked like a bomb, its fuse burning atop its head, yet it also resembled a face, with sharp eyes and a sinister grin revealing a mouthful of pointed teeth.

Kira paused, the corners of his mouth lifting into a smile that made it impossible to tell whether anyone would live or die.
"Xyz, huh? I never expected you to gain such power."
"Let me guess. Some ally from a Different Dimension extended an olive branch, told you that you could cooperate, and offered you new power to deal with me—helping you remove obstacles and achieve your goal of Assimilating the world, right?"
Mr. T snorted. "So what if that's true? We have indeed mastered the power of 'Xyz.' At the very least, this power is enough to send you on your way."
"Is that so?" Kira
