The pitch-black metal chamber lay submerged in absolute darkness, with only the emergency lights occasionally flashing on the walls and casting an eerie blue reflection across the metal surfaces. The door was locked tight as Dr. Fika slowly walked down a metal corridor to the center of the room.
Space seemed to be torn open by an invisible hand, forming a jagged rift. Purple-black energy seeped from the Dimensional Fissure like viscous crude oil. The substance churned violently in midair, gradually stretching into a vague humanoid shape over two meters tall. Black particles continually peeled away from its edges before reforming, while its torso sometimes dispersed like smoke and sometimes condensed into something with a metallic texture, as though it existed in multiple physical states at once. When the pair of eyes formed from dark red energy suddenly lit up, spiderweb-like currents instantly spread across every metal surface in the room.
Dr. Fika looked up at the twisted outline taking shape in midair.
That was a Barian—at least, that was what it called itself. It was also the only being from the Barian World to communicate with Fika, as well as the source that had granted him power.
"I did not tell you to bind a Space-Time Anchor to Kaito Tenjo," the Barian said accusingly.
"Kaito. No matter what, he is still my son." Fika looked up at the giant shadow. "How could I send him alone to fight in such a dangerous Dimension without taking any safety measures?"
The Barian grew angry. "Your unauthorized actions may bring danger to your world, even ours. The Fusion Dimension may follow the Space-Time Anchor's trail to find our world. The Demon King may even come in person."
