Yugi Mutou had become the pinnacle of the GX Dimension in the years since Duel Monsters ended. Kira had operated in this dimension for many years, and he considered himself to have probably reached the upper circles by now. He had met and become fairly familiar with most of the permanently residing high-level powerhouses in the GX Dimension.
Only Yugi Mutou, the original Supreme Expert, had never met him in person even now. Sometimes, Kira even wondered whether Yugi was still in this dimension.
Judging from Old Thousand's description, Zorc from that other world was likely wary of Yugi in the GX Dimension, who might have long since surpassed the maximum level.
Of course, Kira could not be sure which Yugi he meant. It might have been the now-famous Yugi Mutou, or perhaps he feared that the Pharaoh in the Underworld might rise from the dead. But regardless of which one it was, one thing was certain: both had long surpassed their levels from the end of Duel Monsters.
If what Old Thousand said was true, then Kira had roughly guessed what was going on.

He had no way of knowing what realm Yugi, who had vanished from the world for years, had reached, nor did he want to risk confirming it himself. That was why he kept causing trouble, trying to lure Yugi into acting.
