Kira felt like he more or less understood.
My fate is mine to decide, not Heaven's, huh?
What an inspiring Demon King.
"But if your goal is only to defeat the Pharaoh and survive the final battle, shouldn't your current abilities already be enough?" Kira said.
That was genuinely what he thought.
From the current situation, Great Evil God Zorc seemed to have visited quite a few dimensions. He had at least encountered and mastered the powers of Synchro and Xyz. As for whether he had dabbled in later Summoning Methods, that was hard to say for now.
He had obtained power beyond this era, along with a Deck beyond this era. If his only goal was to defeat the Pharaoh and survive King's Memory, then the strength he currently possessed should have given him no small chance.

That was precisely the situation between the Pharaoh and Zorc. An ordinary person wielding an absurdly powerful Deck naturally could not defeat the Pharaoh, but Zorc might be another matter.
"You think I haven't tried?" Bakura said coldly.
Kira raised an eyebrow. "Oh? You tried? You used your new power to challenge the Pharaoh?"
He was somewhat curious. If Zorc had already challenged the Pharaoh and failed, how could he still be standing here, talking to him instead of being reduced to ashes?
"I'm not reckless enough to test the waters myself without any basis." Bakura—or rather, the part of Zorc residing within him—said, "But yes, I tried. At least, one 'me' tried."
