Boom—
The Earthbound Immortal's strike looked, from a visual standpoint, as though it had blasted Bakura straight into the ground with a single slap.
When the Earthbound Immortal withdrew its hand, the ground had been sunken into the shape of a human body, leaving behind a conspicuous human-shaped indentation. Bakura looked as though he had been embedded in the earth, a sorry and somewhat comical sight.
The duel was over now, and victory had been decided. Losing in such a duel, and taking the Earthbound Immortal's slap as the final blow—while Earthbound Immortals could not compare to beings on the level of the Egyptian God Cards and were, at most, minor gods of the wilderness, a minor god was still a god.
Even if this was not a Dark Duel, a god's strike carried extraordinary impact on both the mental and physical levels. An ordinary person should have been incapable of getting back up after taking an Earthbound Immortal's slap head-on.

Bakura swayed slightly, his gaze toward Kira carrying a trace of sinister malice.
A voice came from nearby. "Kira? And Bakura?"
Kira turned toward the voice and saw that the newcomer was none other than Pharaoh Atem.
Atem had evidently already resolved the trouble with Anubis on his side. Given the Pharaoh's strength, he had naturally noticed the commotion from Kira's duel from far away. Both Kira and Bakura were Dark Duelists of no low standing, and their duel had made quite a spectacle. After finishing his own business, Atem had hurried over and witnessed the final scene just now.
"Bakura. No, are you the Dark Personality inside Bakura?" Atem demanded.
