Akhenaden revealed a card in his hand.
"I Special Summoned 'Great Sun Vanguard'!"

"Next, I activated the Spell Card 'Magic Planter'! I sent a Continuous Spell I controlled to the Graveyard to draw two cards!" Akhenaden said. "I sent 'God's Dwelling' to the Graveyard and drew two cards!"
Having served its purpose, God's Dwelling was immediately discarded. Akhenaden drew two cards in succession as the majestic angelic dwelling dissolved into motes of light.
Akhenaden then launched into a flurry of moves.
The Great Sun Archetype was primarily an early Xyz Deck. Its monsters were mostly named after combinations of Greek letters and geometric shapes. It contained both Synchro and Xyz end boards, and its defining trait was its ability to extend through various in-archetype Great Sun Equip Spells.
Akhenaden then played another core card, the Continuous Spell "Great Sun Element." Whenever a "Great Sun" Equip Card he controlled was destroyed, he could Special Summon from his Deck a number of "Great Sun" Tuner Monsters equal to the number destroyed.
He then activated the Trap "Weapon Calling," which he had left on the Field last turn, searching his Deck for the Equip Spell "Great Sun Thread."
Next, Akhenaden revealed three Equip Spells at once—Great Sun Thread, Great Sun Fragment, and Great Sun Component—and equipped all of them to the "Great Sun Vanguard" on his Field.
Each of these Great Sun equips had different effects when equipped, such as increasing ATK, piercing Defense Position monsters, or not targeting, but none of that mattered.
