Background / History

Seto Kaiba rose from an orphanage background to seize control of KaibaCorp from his adoptive father, Gozaburo Kaiba, at sixteen. He won over the company's executives, stripped Gozaburo of power, and became the corporation's president; Gozaburo died soon afterward. Kaiba and Mokuba had previously promised to build a paradise that would bring happiness to people around the world. 204 265
