This was also one of the cards Misuzu had used in the original work that had never received a physical card adaptation. When first activated, it looked like nothing more than background decoration, seemingly useless aside from setting an eerie atmosphere.

It was only as Aster and Judai's duel against Misuzu progressed that they discovered that every time a monster on the field was destroyed, this thing would open one of its eyes. They inferred that whenever a monster was destroyed, this card probably had to receive a counter.

Once it accumulated ten or more counters, the Moon Ring Mirror on the field could be sent to the Graveyard to activate the exclusive Field Spell, "Infinite Demon Mirror," from the Deck.

This was Misuzu's finishing combination. Her Ace Monster was called "God of Darkness—Dark God," while Infinite Demon-Slaying Mirror was the field designed to work with that Dark God. While a Dark God existed on the field, its controller could summon an unlimited number of "Dark Deity Tokens" onto their own field, each with exactly the same stats and Monster Effect as the true form.

"My Turn, draw."

Kira spoke.

"I activate the Spell Card 'Take Over 5,' sending the top five cards of my Deck to the Graveyard."

He drew out five cards and sent them to the Graveyard one after another, then glanced at the bizarre Moon Ring Mirror.

While accumulating ten counters would not be easy, it was still his opponent's trump card. Getting rid of it first would save him trouble later.

"I activate the Spell Card 'Magic Eraser,'" Kira said. "Destroy one Spell Card on the field. I destroy the Continuous Spell 'Moon Ring Mirror.'"
