The helicopter descended slowly through the air as if riding a hurricane. Isono, a KaibaCorp veteran, was the first to jump out, taking up position to the side like a guardian.

Mokuba Kaiba, dressed in a white suit, stepped off the helicopter right after him.

"Sorry, sorry. Did you wait long? Something held us up on the way."

Mokuba smiled as he approached and shook hands with Pegasus Tsukikage, who had been waiting there.

"It's fine, I only just arrived myself." Pegasus Tsukikage smiled faintly and casually made small talk. "President Kaiba really is a busy man. I imagine he's working on some important new card development right now?"

"Uh, not really."

Mokuba scratched his head.

Actually, his brother seemed to have been researching something related to Dimensional Travel lately. Mokuba guessed that Brother had thought it over and decided that the world of the living had become too much like the underworld under the influence of a certain new Duel King. Maybe he figured the underworld's duels were more like the world of the living, so his Dueling Addiction had flared up and he wanted to go down there to play cards with his old friends again.

"Then shall we go inside and talk?" Tsukihiko gestured invitingly.

"No, let's wait a moment. The Duel King is on his way. He said he'll be here soon," Mokuba said.

"Oh?" Tsukihiko was immediately intrigued. "He's coming too? How long?"

"About... ten seconds?"

As soon as he finished speaking, everyone looked up and saw the flaming trail in the sky.

It was a glider, its brilliant fire tracing a burning arc through the air. Kira leaped down from it, adjusted his angle, and descended vertically, landing in a half-crouch on the helipad and kicking up a transparent whirlwind.
