Saiō snorted, growing more annoyed at the sight of that smiling face.

His desire to tear that hateful face to pieces grew even stronger.

"You may have temporarily escaped the wrath of the world, but only for this turn."

Saiō spoke coldly.

"I'll allow you to live for one more turn, then. End Turn!"

Misuzu also let out a slight sigh of relief.

Thankfully, a king was still a king. Even an attack as terrifying as Turn Skip had been blocked.

But even so, Saiō still seemed to hold the advantage. In this duel, he had displayed a fighting style and strength entirely different from Big Brother's usual self, showing terrifying suppression from the very beginning.

It also made her even more certain that her decision to lie low all this time had been correct. If she had not been so patient back then and had instead chosen to fight this Evil Personality to the death, then even at the cost of her life, she probably would not have caused him much trouble.

The gap in strength was simply too great.

"My Turn, draw." Kira glanced at the card he had drawn. "Looks like time has started moving for me again this turn.

"Then, during the Standby Phase, I activate the effect of 'Des Frog' in my Graveyard.

"If there are no cards in my Spell & Trap Zone during my Standby Phase, I can Special Summon Des Frog from my Graveyard."

A golden beam shot out of his Graveyard and landed in the Monster Zone. The tiny frog, a halo above its head and pure white angelic wings flapping behind it, descended onto the Field.

"I Special Summon 'Des Frog.'"
