Simply put, it was a plan to gather the duelists Kira had fought and assessed during his time at Duel Academy—those he considered capable or specially gifted—and form them into an elite Duel Academy team.

Each duelist would begin testing and training with the Deck they originally used as a foundation. A specialized team from Kira's laboratory would evaluate their performance with different Decks and test their compatibility with them.

During duels, every member would switch between different Decks and try a wide variety of tactics. In the end, their personal preferences would be considered to determine the Decks and strategies best suited to them.

Only those with the most outstanding strength and consistently stable performances would be allowed to remain and join the team.

In truth, this was something Kira had been considering for a long time. Based on his memories of the original Yu-Gi-Oh! GX storyline, he knew that relying solely on himself would not be enough.
