Kira sent five cards from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard, but his turn did not end there.

"Although the summon of 'Machina Fortress' failed, this card itself also has a Special Summon effect," Kira said. "By discarding Machine-Type Monsters from my hand whose total Levels equal 8 or more, Machina Fortress can Revive from Graveyard."

He revealed a card in his hand.

"I discard the Level 8 'Machina Megaform' from my hand and revive the Fortress from the Graveyard!"

A heavy roar rang out as mechanical parts ground and collided. Massive treads slammed onto the ground, and a giant cannon locked onto the target ahead.

"Machina Fortress, attack the Face-down Defense Position monster."

The mech's heavy cannon fired, blasting apart the Set monster in a single shot.

Dr. Bynstein drew a card.

Dr. Bynstein said, "Then it is my turn. Draw."

He looked up at Kira, a faintly mischievous smile seemingly appearing on his face.

This time, it was a cat in a white suit, its hat perched atop its swaying tail. It looked like an elegant magician.

"Whenever I draw cards Outside the Draw Phase, after confirming the cards drawn, I can choose to return them to the Deck and shuffle it.

If I use this effect to return and shuffle them, I can then draw the same number of cards from the Deck. However, if I draw cards using this effect, I cannot use 'Schrödinger's Trick Cat' again to draw cards."
