Ten minutes later, Aster Phoenix was already in a car headed for the airport.

He dialed Kira's number.

Just a few seconds later, the call connected, and Kira's voice came through.

"Aster? How did it go? Was the trip smooth?"

"Ha, not bad. It would've been a lot better if I'd had more time."

Aster smiled.

"I've finished what I came to do and I'm on my way to the airport. As for the Spirit you asked me to look into, I did make some progress. Don't get your hopes up, though."

Kira shrugged on the other end of the line. "My expectations have always been set at the bare minimum. It's fine, go ahead."

"All right. First, I still have no clue what that Spirit actually is, which was what you wanted to know most. I caught a bishop here, but even he didn't know who they were chasing.

"According to them, it was 'God's will.'"

"Evil God, huh?" Kira said. "So that's really what they call their faith."

"Yeah, it's pretty strange. But they did explain why they needed that Spirit." Aster said. "It involves some location in the Spirit World."

"The Spirit World?" Kira asked curiously.

"Yes, a place that seems to have been hidden away." Aster said. "They're looking for it, and it seems to be connected to lifting the seal on their god.

"Either they can't find the place and need information about its exact location, or that Spirit is the key to breaking the seal.

"So catching that Spirit at any cost is now their entire sect's top priority."

"Oh?"
