Though it was called a "worm," the hulking creature that descended onto Kira's field looked nothing like an insect. Its massive body brought to mind the minor monsters from Japanese tokusatsu, only with a more horrific design. Its crimson shell looked as though it had been soaked in blood; it stood upright in a humanoid shape, but its maw was packed with grim white fangs dripping with viscous fluid.
