"I remember your name was Luna, Luna Lovegood, right?"

Kayson looked at the little girl standing in the middle of the corridor. She wore a lion hat, stood barefoot on one foot, and looked up at a shoe hanging from the chandelier.

"That's right, it's me," Luna said, turning her head.

Kayson nodded and used Pickup Magic, retrieving the shoe from the chandelier out of thin air.

"Here." He handed the shoe back to Luna, and she swiftly put it on.

"Someone was bullying you... Otherwise, your shoe couldn't have grown wings and flown up there on its own," Kayson said.

"Perhaps it counted as bullying, but I forgave them," Luna said softly.

"Um... why?" Kayson asked.

"I thought they were pitiful. So many, so many Nargles were buzzing around them. No one could be in a good mood like that, and they hadn't really done anything, had they? Perhaps they merely wanted to train my Levitation Charm," Luna explained.

"That wasn't the Levitation Charm's job. That should have been the Summoning Charm's job," Kayson quipped.

"Perhaps... there are many Nargles above your head as well. Far more than all of theirs combined."

"Yes, adults always had plenty of worries," Kayson said helplessly.

"Why weren't you curious?" Luna asked.

"Curious about what?" Kayson asked, sitting directly on the Iron Golem platform beside the corridor.

"Why weren't you curious about what Nargles are? Everyone before you asked me what Nargles were. Even though they couldn't see them, they never got tired of asking."

"Are these Nargles something only you can see?"

"Mhm."

"Then perhaps we're alike, because I can see things other people can't see either." As he spoke, Kayson removed the monocle from his eye and handed it to her.

Luna took it and carefully pinched it between her fingers.
