"Resurrection Stone? It could bring people back to life?" Kayson raised an eyebrow.
"Even if that is its name, we both know it cannot," Dumbledore said slowly.
"Unbelievable. You knew it couldn't, yet you still put it on your hand? Or could even a wizard like you be hypnotized by mind magic?" Kayson plucked the ring from Dumbledore's hand and was about to destroy it completely with pixel flames.
"Don't... Let me look at it," Dumbledore stopped him.
Kayson placed the ring in his own palm. "Looking at it in my hand is enough. You don't need to touch this ring yourself."
"Please believe me. I have let it go now. I am merely considering how to remove the Dark Magic from this ring. I truly need to use... the Resurrection Stone."
"Consider it an old man's request, all right?" Dumbledore said pitifully.
"What is the principle behind the Dark Magic on it?" Kayson did not hand him the ring, instead asking a question.
"It relies on a powerful curse to erode the human body, ultimately causing death," Dumbledore answered.
"A curse? Then take it. Even if you really put it on, I have a way to save you." Kayson relaxed when he heard it was a curse rather than some Avada Kedavra explosion. As long as it was an external force, he had a way to handle it.
Noble milk could remove all external forces from the human body.
Dumbledore nodded. "But there is no need. I do not know precisely when Tom made this Horcrux, but his methods at the time were clearly not particularly sophisticated."
After speaking, he lightly tapped with his wand. Sacred, radiant archaic celestial flames drifted slowly from its tip onto the ring, and in an instant, wisps of blackish-gray vapor were burned out
