The Weasley twins excitedly pushed through the crowd when they saw Kayson and the others arrive.
"Hello! Looks like it's about time to buy new textbooks," the Weasley twins said.
"Yeah... You've been too busy with business these past few days, so Mum specifically sent us over to see whether you'd taken proper care of yourselves," Ginny said, folding her arms like a parent.
"Oh... Well, can you see clearly now? Obviously, nothing's changed from when we were at home."
Unlike Ginny, the other three had already darted through the joke shop's maze, finding every single item fascinating.
The bags originally meant for books were opened again, and even their pitiful remaining space was stuffed full of prank items.
Kayson had already taken up position by the counter, waiting for the young wizards to bring their things over so he could pay.
But the Weasley twins suddenly put on ingratiating smiles. "Professor, since you brought them here, there's no need to pay. Consider it a token of our appreciation."
Ron, who was still picking out items, deeply agreed when he heard that. He nodded, then pulled out his wand and cast an Undetectable Extension Charm on his paper book bag.
Meanwhile, Kayson scratched the back of his head at the counter. Of course he appreciated the Weasley twins' kindness, but the young wizards had taken far too much. He still had to pay.
A small white cubical skeleton suddenly appeared behind Kayson. One of its eye sockets had been modified into an alchemical mechanical eye. After flying out, it began scanning the various items the four had picked with its mechanical eye, transmitting the data into its skull and starting its calculations.
In the end, it came to sixty-two Galleons, twelve Sickles, and six Knuts.
