After sending the four little ones away, Kayson felt light as a feather. From now on... at least for a while, the only thing he had to worry about was accompanying the four first-year little wizards to receive their awards.
Time flew by, and it was the weekend. When he woke up that morning, he noticed a set of keys by his bed, along with a letter from the European Alchemy Exchange Association.
The language in this letter was more friendly than the last, showing that the big shots at the Exchange Association were quite fond of Kayson, who spent money like it was water.
By evening, Kayson once again had the little wizards line up in front of him. He personally inspected their appearance and demeanor.
Soon, Kayson found himself in the Ministry of Magic's banquet hall. He first surveyed the reporters present. Good, Rita Skeeter wasn't here.
Or rather, ever since he had hit her with his box, the only public appearance she had made was a brief statement in the Daily Prophet.
It said she was taking an indefinite leave of absence.
"That's really great... I really don't like her," Kayson said to Ollivander, leaning against a giant Roman scale pillar.
Well, as the master of England's only wand-making family, it would have been strange if he wasn't here.
"Yes, speaking of which, besides this award ceremony, there's also your investiture ceremony. We all tacitly didn't tell you. It's a surprise," Ollivander said with a smile.
"Does that mean I get another title?"
"No, two. One is the Order of Hermes recipient. You know Hermes, right? Legend has it he's the founder of Alchemy, the pinnacle of honor in the alchemy world. The other is the Order of Merlin, but I didn't ask for details. After all, ever since a certain Black bought a first-class medal with money, the value of the Order of Merlin has plummeted."
"Some people are even ashamed to receive the Order of Merlin. Of course, it's not entirely Black's fault. A larger part of it should be blamed on the Ministry," Ollivander slowly explained the whole story to Kayson.
"Got it, got it..."
Soon, after a brief and concise award ceremony, Kayson was pushed onto the high platform by Ollivander.
"You know, I'm not good with words."
"Then don't speak... Few alchemists know how to talk."
"...That's true..."
The next morning, Kayson wore the dark red wizard robe that Neville had given him. The robe was light and soft, feeling as if he wasn't wearing anything... of course, he meant the feeling.
Not the appearance.
On his chest, he wore the Order of Hermes. It didn't have a fixed color; instead, at first glance, it looked like flowing quicksilver, emitting a low-key glow.
Brooch +1
He strutted out of his office, feeling quite pleased with himself, and headed towards the classroom.
Today's class was for third-years. He had already taught them the basics of Alchemy, so it was time to give them a small assignment, like how to create an immortality totem using basic alchemy.
Of course, he wasn't that twisted; it was just a way of speaking.
In the classroom.
Kayson stood on the podium. "Now that you've learned the basic rules of Alchemy, I've found a simple assignment for you. Don't worry, this assignment is very easy."
As he spoke, Kayson clapped his hands. A glowing blue cube suddenly appeared on the podium, resting on an obsidian base with a brilliant blue light source in the center, encased in a layer of crystal.
"Let me show you the magic of this big fellow." He waved his hand at the little wizards below. The students immediately understood. They grabbed their desks and kicked their chairs, moving them to the sides of the classroom.
Kayson conjured an iron block, and soon a small iron pyramid appeared in the center of the classroom. He placed the beacon on it and then took an emerald block, pushing it in.

In an instant, the beacon emitted a milky white beam of light.
"Do you feel any power?"
The little wizards looked confused, making Kayson awkwardly touch his chin.
"You can try jumping."
No sooner said than done. For example, the Weasley twins crouched down and jumped with all their might, only for their heads to make contact with the ceiling.
Wait, where did I put that picture?
Oh, found it. It's this one. ↓
A bit blurry.
"Well, thank you, Mr. Weasley, for the demonstration. So, this thing, I've named it a Beacon. It can provide enhancements to people within a certain range, such as making you jump higher or run faster."
"Of course, there are also other, more powerful effects, such as restoring your magic faster, making your spells more powerful, and making your life force more resilient."
After Kayson finished speaking, one of the Weasley twins raised his hand.
"Please speak."
"Then Professor, why can't it change its enhancement effect?"
"Because that would require more precious bases, like Gold Blocks, Diamond Blocks, Emerald Blocks, Alloy Blocks, and so on. But I have to consider Hogwarts' load-bearing capacity..."
"You probably really wish my alchemical creations would smash down from here and kill Professor Snape, who is having class downstairs."
"Hahahaha!!!"
The classroom was filled with a happy atmosphere.
"But I don't think it's necessary. Although Professor Snape always has a long face, he really doesn't deserve to die."
"Oh..."
This was a strange sound of disappointment...
Hmm... the Weasley twins' disappointment was the loudest.
"I'll explain the structure of this object to you first... you'll spend the rest of the semester writing a thesis on its principles, and I'll directly incorporate the thesis grade into your final grades."
"Of course, this thing is very complex. I don't expect you to fully understand it in half a semester. As long as the final thesis has substance, I will give you a grade."
"Finally, plagiarism is forbidden. Believe me, I will carefully check all theses. Of course, if you are of one mind, like the Weasley twins..."
"I will call you to my office and have you explain your line of reasoning to me properly."
"Now close your textbooks and come closer. I'll show you the internal structure of this Beacon in detail," Kayson said, suddenly producing a manuscript.
"Wait, Professor, isn't this a bit too violent?" one of the young wizards asked.
"Violent? Not really."
