The man leaving the Headmaster's Office scratched his head. "So Professor Dumbledore gave us this..."
In the evening, as Kayson was eating dinner, he suddenly heard a commotion erupt at the Gryffindor table below.
"You've already broken up with me once! Why are you bringing it up again!"
With a crisp sound, Lavender slammed Ron's chicken leg onto the long table, and chicken legs and shards flew everywhere, sauce and hair all mixed together.
After all, both Ketchup and Ron's hair are red.
But the question is... why Lavender say that this was the first time Ron had tried to break up with him? Is that true?
This was a problem that not only Kayson didn't understand, but Harry, who had turned back into Harry Potter after drinking milk at the end of the dinner, didn't understand.
"Why did she say... that Ron broke up with him for the first time?" Harry looked at his face, which was swollen like a pumpkin, in the mirror and said helplessly.
" Ron broke up with Lavender before you, and Hermione isn't either. I have reason to suspect that the two of them might already be secretly dating somewhere."
As he spoke, Kayson made a helmet for Harry out of blue ice and handed it over.
"Professor, what's this for?" Harry asked, puzzled, after taking the bag.
"For you to use as an ice pack."
"Oh." Harry put the helmet on his head, the face shield fitting perfectly against half of his face, the cool sensation making him feel a little better.
"So what are you doing here so late at night instead of sleeping in your dorms?" Kayson asked, curling up on the sofa again.
" Lavender has put a warrant for the arrest of the three of us in the entire lounge. It's not just Ron, Neville and I are also being targeted. Once Neville gets his comeuppance Lavender criticizes him again, I reckon he'll put a warrant for our arrest too," Harry said bitterly.
Kayson couldn't help but break into a smile, "You two have really something. Back at Black family manor, we made so many plans, but we couldn't get Ron and Hermione to stand together because of the same enemy. Now, you two only used one bottle of Polyjuice Potion to get Ron and Lavender to put a warrant for your arrest. Pure talent, huh?"
"Professor, please stop teasing us. We don't even know where we'll be sleeping tonight. How about we squeeze in with you tonight?" Neville sighed.
"My bed is too small, you guys can just find a secluded corner in this office Transfiguration up a bed to rest for the night. Just remember to hide it well so Lavender doesn't find it." Kayson pointed out the way to the group.
"Alright, Professor." The man nodded and walked over to the office's work area on his own. He could easily hide the huge pile of large Redstone machines there.
Seeing this, Kayson took out a bucket of milk, tilted his head back, gulped it down, and was about to go upstairs to sleep when he noticed that there were two people standing in front of his desk again.
Ron, who had been beaten into a pig's head, and Lavender, who was furious.
Without the slightest hesitation, Kayson saw the situation and the sage pointed out the right path for him.
Everyone nodded, and then walked in the direction that Kayson was pointing.
"Well, good luck to you," Kayson hummed as he went upstairs to sleep.
Before we knew it, the semester was coming to an end. It wasn't that late, though the midterms had been over for quite some time.
Although Hogwarts has no official midterm exams, professors will privately administer one such exam to young wizards midway through the term. This exam is not recorded in their academic records and is only for the purpose of understanding their progress.
Kayson, however, was not particularly satisfied with the result.
It wasn't anything else; Kayson was quite satisfied with the students who attended his classes every day and passed. However, Kayson couldn't understand why the young wizard who received special tutoring only got a "good" grade on his midterm exam.
"Tell me, are these results satisfactory?" On either side of the coffee table, Kayson sat on the sofa reading a book. In front of him were two young wizards, one a level 4 wizard and the other a level 5 wizard. Clay and Orland were lounging lazily on the sofa, while Orlando was somewhat restless.
"Professor, what kind of answer do you want to hear?" Orland finally spoke first.
"Right now I really want to launch you into the Black Lake and then use your combined magic to blast you into a mushroom cloud," Kayson said, his face darkening further.
Sitting next to Orland, Clay realized that Professor Kayson didn't like talkative students.
Then just shut up.
" Clay, are you addicted to pretending to be mute? Have you made a sound since you sat down here? Are you the Sister of Silence?"
Sitting there doing nothing, Clay looked completely bewildered and pointed to himself.
"Professor, wizards can't be nuns of silence, but we know magic," Orland added.
" Orland, shut up!"
The atmosphere grew slightly quieter. "I need an explanation."
"My research focus has shifted slightly lately..." Orland spoke first.
"Mysterious alchemy?"
Orland shook his head. "It's a large-scale AOE attack centered on curse wave contamination."
Sitting next to him, Clay looked completely bewildered at the dull-witted senior in front of him. Was this really right? He was only a fifth-year student, yet he was researching large-scale pollution attacks with a level of danger essentially equivalent to nuclear radiation? And he just blurted it out like that?
Won't Professor Kayson humanely euthanize them?
"Hmm, that reason is somewhat plausible," Kayson said sullenly.
Before Clay could even turn his neck back, his eyes had already rolled over. How could you say such a thing, Professor Kayson!
"So, does that mean I've passed?"
"Of course not," Kayson continued, his voice low and drawn.
" Professor Kayson, would you please come to my office?" Dumbledore, the Phoenix Patronus, suddenly appeared on the desk and spoke in human language.
Seeing that Kayson Dumbledore using this method of communication, it seemed to be something urgent. As he stood up, he said, " Clay, give Orland a couple of assignments first, and I'll be right back."
As Kayson Ender teleportation away, Orland looked at Clay and asked, "What do you mean by 'two pounds of homework'?"
