Darkness, coldness, silence.
Beneath the abyssal seafloor, even time seemed to lose all meaning.

Suddenly, a call that sounded like both a whale and a dolphin rang out leisurely, shattering the deep sea's original stillness.
Greninja opened its eyes and instinctively turned toward the source of the sound.
Soon, a pair of red eyes rapidly approached from afar, arriving before Greninja in the blink of an eye.
Greninja moved closer of its own accord, because this was the only thing it could "see" on the seafloor.
"Croak..."
"Eeyah~~"
"Croak, croak!"
"Eeyah..."
"..."
The two seemed to be communicating, and Greninja was clearly more excited than the other.
Before long, the red eyes turned away. In the darkness, Greninja seemed to catch hold of something and swiftly swam off after those "red eyes."
They swam diagonally upward. Though they were not slow, perhaps because the distance was too great and the deep sea too vast, from afar they looked like nothing more than two tiny red-glowing "bugs" slowly wriggling along.
At some point, Greninja began to see a faint glimmer of light and, after so long, finally made out the old friend beside it.
Calling it an old friend was perhaps putting on airs, because the Pokemon beside it was none other than Lugia, bearer of the title "Sea God"! Greninja was clutching the purple dorsal fin on Lugia's back, racing forward under Lugia's lead.
After a while longer, the light remained dim, but they had reached their destination.
Sea God's Kingdom!
After passing through the Space Barrier that separated it from the outside currents, Greninja's vision suddenly brightened.
The intense light forced it to squint as it slowly adjusted to the sudden change.
Soon, Sea God's Kingdom came clearly into view: seawater as bright as daylight, with uneven layers
