Houndoom's Ruthless Resolve

After Weavile defeated Marowak at the fastest speed, it turned and charged toward Ninetales to support Houndoom.

"Ninetales, ignore Houndoom! Use Iron Tail on Weavile!"

Seeing Weavile rush over so quickly, Mr. Kuriki River decisively had Ninetales turn its focus toward Weavile while enduring Houndoom's attacks.

"Woo!"

Houndoom bit down on Ninetales's left foreleg, and the Dark-type Energy carried by Crunch made its opponent suffer terribly.

But Ninetales was equally resolute. Knowing it could not win against the coordinated assault of two Pokémon, it simply disregarded its injuries and swung its nine tails, each longer than its body, all at once toward Weavile.

"Weavile, use Brick Break to deflect the force! Houndoom, switch to Thunder Fang!"

The nine silver-glinting Iron Tails whistled over, yet Weavile showed no sign of retreating. Waving its cold white Bone Claws, it fearlessly met them head-on.

Just as Iron Tail and bone claw collided, the bone claws shifted by a tiny angle, allowing the Iron Tails to slide past the edges of its claws.

Amid flashing sparks, Weavile used a force-deflecting technique it had never displayed before to block all nine of Ninetales's Iron Tails with its hands! "Awooo!"

Houndoom's attack became even more vicious. Its Thunder Fang, crackling with electricity, bit directly toward Ninetales's soft abdomen without holding back in the slightest.

"Woo!"

Ninetales's screams rang out again. Houndoom's Thunder Fang not only caused tremendous damage, but the electric current entering its body also severely affected its movements.

But the next moment, Ninetales looked at Weavile as though in a Last Burst of Energy, its bloodshot eyes utterly terrifying.

It suddenly opened its mouth wide and fired out a red-and-white blast of scorching energy, which whistled toward Weavile.
