"Okay, Gym Leader Sato."

In the sky, two Hydreigon flew side by side. Their six slender wings did not seem to move, yet they were not slow at all.

On the backs of the two Hydreigon sat Sato and Lota, who had just returned from Dragon Village.

Lota was in her early twenties, quiet and not fond of talking. Although she answered every question along the way, Sato had been the one trying to keep the conversation going from beginning to end.

Yet Sato was not especially talkative either, and whenever he took the initiative to chat, the conversation never lasted long.

So he simply let her be. It made both of them more comfortable instead.

Although Lota was not as beautiful as Cynthia, she was the kind of girl whose looks grew on people.

Her dark blue hair reached past her hips, and combined with her gentle, quiet disposition, it was difficult for those around her to feel any dislike toward her.

At the very least, Sato found Lota easy to deal with, though perhaps that was also because they were not yet familiar with each other.

Sato had originally planned to go straight to Celadon City to study, but settling in the Hydreigon family and Lota was equally important.

Therefore, Sato could only bring Lota back to Dark Night Gym first, using the opportunity to show how much he valued her.
