Vasco and the others' first target was Mais, who had pushed farther and farther ahead. Henry had told them to protect his life.

Several dozen Elite Veteran Infantry automatically gathered around Henry. Now clad in Three-Layer Heavy Armor and wielding iron war hammers and Iron-Clad Shields, they charged forward fiercely at Henry's side.

There was no helping it. There had been plenty of spoils, and he had abused his little bit of authority once, skimming a small share for himself. Besides, Henry still had half a Warehouse full of Half-Orc iron armor that had yet to be reforged. He had more than enough armor and weapons to equip elite heavy infantry.

Henry's hands, tightly encased in Noble Gauntlets, gripped his greatsword. Cold light gleamed along its blade.

The Great Axe was certainly satisfying to use, but it took too much effort. If he truly wanted efficiency, a Greatsword was still the better choice.

Henry led the infantry in a charge against the Gnolls. Like a pride of lions on the hunt, he rushed into the enemy ranks with his greatsword swinging.

The Gnolls stared in terror at this human who seemed like a Half-Orc, raising their weapons to resist.

Henry fixed his eyes on the Gnoll directly ahead. His greatsword carved an arc through the air and chopped viciously toward its neck.

Splat!

A Gnoll's head spun straight off its body and crashed heavily to the ground.

The Elite Veteran Infantry were no slouches either. They stayed close around Henry, delivering lethal blows to the Gnolls with their hammers.

Under Henry's lead, the infantry became a sharp blade that tore open a gap in the Gnoll formation.

The battered Serfs finally breathed a sigh of relief and regrouped into a dense formation. They simply could not withstand the Gnolls' charge;
