Background

Henry was a transmigrator reborn as the second son of a lesser noble family. He spent eighteen years in his new family before gaining the Mount & Blade Overlord Panel upon adulthood. Determined to use the system rather than live quietly as a minor lord, he persuaded his father to fund three years at the Royal Knight Academy. 1

After graduating, Henry became an independent royal vassal and received West Lyme as his fief. The village had already been destroyed in Centaur raids, prompting him to advocate a Pioneering War that would attract mercenaries, settlers, and royal authorization for expansion. 1

Henry financed West Lyme’s reconstruction through contracts, investments, and calculated bargains. He spent his entire 8,700-Denar reserve securing merchant contracts, then negotiated a 170,000-Denar castle project with Baron Pedro Silva in exchange for future land. 3 4

Appearance

Following his divine blessing, Henry became noticeably taller and broader, with a heavily muscled frame and heightened senses. He can appear as an elegant noble in Imperial robes or as an intimidating front-line warrior in oversized black armor. 68 105 217

  • His black armor includes a face-concealing horned helmet, rune-covered armguards, and heavy plated defenses. 106 217
  • The armor was unaffected by sword, spear, and arrow testing, while ordinary soldiers required four people to move it. 106
  • In battle, he commonly carries a massive battle axe and a spiked warhammer. 189 217
  • His physical growth greatly increased his appetite; after the blessing, he required double portions of food. 105

Personality

Henry is ambitious, pragmatic, and intensely opportunistic. He views wealth, territory, soldiers, and political favor as resources to be acquired and converted into power. He is willing to negotiate, flatter merchants, lose an arena match for a castle, or manipulate noble fears when doing so advances West Lyme’s position. 2 7 176

Despite this ruthlessness, Henry invests heavily in people who serve him well. He pays and equips recruits, recognizes serfs as soldiers rather than disposable labor, rewards battlefield merit, and gives veterans paths to freedom, land, or promotion. 9 10 63 271

His confidence can become arrogance, especially in battle. Henry is aware that the Overlord system and divine powers have made him more irritable and bloodthirsty, and he deliberately tries not to lose himself to the power gained from killing. 19 199

Abilities & Skills

Mount & Blade Overlord Panel

Henry’s primary advantage is the Mount & Blade Overlord Panel, which tracks his personal growth, campaigns, territory, troop templates, and Overlord Training Points. 1 17 189

  • Gains experience through combat, hunting, business activity, command, and campaigns. 5 17 28
  • Uses Overlord Training Points to create and improve military units, including archers, Grassland cavalry, citizen cavalry, and knight-attendant cavalry. 36 91 200
  • Trains soldiers with abnormal speed while increasing their loyalty to him. 9 37
  • The Personal Attribute Panel later became corrupted by unreadable code, while campaign data stopped updating. 189

Martial Prowess

Henry is an exceptional mounted and foot combatant, proficient with bows, swords, axes, polearms, and warhammers. His archery was recognized by fellow knights before his military rise. 5 12

  • Shot three wild boars in rapid succession during a hunt. 5
  • Killed a Centaur standard-bearer with an armor-piercing headshot before a major engagement. 24
  • Routinely breaks enemy morale through direct charges, including Centaurs, Gnolls, mercenaries, Lizardmen, and Beastmen. 25 103 148 213
  • Defeated Baron Nurland in one jousting strike and spared his life. 19
  • Fights heavily armored opponents with armor-piercing warhammers, capable of crushing helmets, breastplates, and shields. 59 103
  • Defeated Lizardmen leaders despite their superior speed and endurance. 138
  • Can still be injured or killed if overwhelmed; he wears his strongest armor when facing major elite forces. 217

Command and Army Building

Henry’s armies are distinguished by discipline, rapid training, high morale, equipment distribution, and unusually strong loyalty. 9 13 180

  • Converted 120 frightened serfs into the Elite Imperial Recruit Squad, providing them with armor, weapons, food, and wages. 9
  • Uses rewards for enemy kills and captures to stabilize morale before unfamiliar battles. 13
  • Commands combined infantry, cavalry, missile troops, and small-unit formations to divide larger enemy forces. 59 121
  • Promotes troops by merit, improving their pay, equipment, and status. 129 271
  • Developed an intelligence network using bards, caravans, academy contacts, and local informants. 98 180

Divine Arms and Chaos Influence

Henry received black armor and a giant battle axe through a divine blessing associated with Khorne. The equipment becomes light in his hands despite its enormous weight. 105 106 217

  • The black armor resists conventional blades, spears, and arrows; it later appeared to repair battlefield scratches over time. 106 186
  • The battle axe can split a large tree in one strike and cleave through armored enemies. 106 184
  • A later warhammer was obtained alongside mysterious divine items: a blank book and a pillow. 189 190
  • Blood on Henry’s armor and weapons causes crimson light and apparent supernatural activity during battle. 218
  • His divine strength frightens allies as well as enemies, and its bloodlust risks eroding his self-control. 199 220

Bloodthirsty Nature

Bloodthirsty Nature allows Henry to replenish stamina by killing enemies, enabling prolonged combat beyond normal physical limits. 199

  • Lets him continue fighting when ordinary warriors would be exhausted.
  • Synergizes with his aggressive front-line fighting style.
  • Risks making him increasingly ruthless or mentally unstable. 199

Warp Experiences

Henry has entered the Warp or Dream Realm and fought a demon there, returning to reality physically injured despite appearing unwounded beforehand. 226 227

  • He retains physical pain, fatigue, and the sensory memory of the Warp after returning. 227
  • His attendants cannot explain his condition and only recognize that he becomes severely weakened after these incidents. 227
  • Henry does not understand the cause, frequency, or full danger of these experiences. 226 227
