Following Mark's question, Victini quickly described what had happened.

After Leafeon stopped them, it no longer touched Rayquaza's Pokeball.

Later, Jirachi, Mew, and Hoopa started throwing Rayquaza's Pokeball back and forth. After Leafeon left, the three of them kept tossing it until it flew into the passageway over there.
