East of Clear Stream Village, Tomato Garden.

As midsummer arrived, the Tomato Garden of Clear Stream Village was laden with ripe fruit.

In the Tomato Garden, many Oddish tended to the tomato seedlings, while some Butterfree pollinated the last remaining tomato blossoms. They looked incredibly busy.

In a few more days, the tomato seedlings here would completely stop flowering, marking the end of midsummer and the arrival of autumn.

By then, most of the Oddish would enter dormancy and wait to awaken in next spring; a small portion would move into temperature-controlled tomato greenhouses to spend autumn and winter.

As for the Butterfree, once autumn arrived, they would, as in previous years, fly south to Yunrui Province to reproduce.

The only difference was that Butterfree usually reached their final evolution in early autumn.

In other words, as soon as the Kakuna evolved, the Butterfree would immediately fly south.

But due to the changes in Fallen Sky Forest this year, both the Caterpie silk-spinning base in Clear Stream Village and the wild Caterpie in Fallen Sky Forest had evolved much earlier, completing evolution around early summer.

Perhaps because Clear Stream Village had a tradition of raising Caterpie, or perhaps because of Mark's Caterpie, these newly evolved Butterfree were not afraid of humans.

Thus, this summer, Clear Stream Village saw Butterfree living harmoniously alongside humans, with some Butterfree even voluntarily coming to the village's Tomato Garden to help.
