Mark descended from the sky, silently passing through the palace guards and appearing in the courtyard of Rose Palace.

In the courtyard, a young girl rested her chin on her hand as she gazed at the clouds in the distant sky, lost in thought.

More than ten meters away, a blue Pokémon played with the flowers in the garden. Near the little blue creature, a massive Tyranitar and a giant Venusaur basked in the sun.

They were none other than Ninth Princess Lilith of the Hia Kingdom and her Pokémon.

A month ago, Lilith, who had been living in seclusion in Clear Stream Village, had finally been found and made the decision to return to the capital of the Hia Kingdom.

After the Old King's death, the Hia Royal Family had fallen into turmoil. Several princes had either died or fled.

Before anyone realized it, Ninth Princess Lilith had become the Hia Kingdom's first legal heir to the throne.

And now, under the Prime Minister's arrangements, Lilith had officially been chosen as the Hia Kingdom's next monarch—or rather, queen.

The coronation ceremony was scheduled for a month later.

After Lilith's coronation, the nature of the Hia Kingdom would undergo some changes, transforming from its original semi-feudal kingdom into a nation resembling a constitutional monarchy.

As Queen of Hia, Lilith would retain only a small amount of authority, serving more as a symbol of the nation.

Because of the butterfly effect caused by Mark, the Hia Kingdom had now embarked on a path completely different from every other Parallel Time-Space.

However, none of that had much to do with Mark.
