Zacian: Why Can You Be So Happy?

Zacian watched more than just two videos.

After discovering that Zacian was a Pokémon who enjoyed learning, Mark continued showing him many videos about the world and cognition.

As he kept watching, Zacian's expression gradually shifted from constant shock to confusion and bewilderment.

Seeing that Zacian had nearly finished the last video, Mark put away his phone and stopped the playback.

Mark said, "This advanced video on mathematics has finished. I believe you now have a deeper impression of mathematics.

"If there is anything that can be called truth, it must be mathematics.

"Mathematics encompasses every aspect of our lives. We can even use mathematics to construct the environment around us, and even humans and Pokémon can be modeled through mathematics.

"In other words, if mathematics is applied to the extreme, we could even use mathematical models to calculate what the future will look like.

"However, doing that is simply too difficult.

"But we can simplify it appropriately. Mewtwo is currently developing combat techniques related to it, and I think your swordsmanship might be able to draw on some mathematical principles as well.

"Of course, I still don't know much about swordsmanship, so whether it can actually work will depend on how you use it in practice..."

"Mathematics... swordsmanship..."

Zacian murmured softly, his gaze becoming increasingly vacant.

Mark had shown him many videos.

Whether it was the theory of Parallel Time-Space, educational material about the Solar System, or the universe, the origin of life, the microscopic and macroscopic worlds... and the final introduction to mathematics, all of it had dealt a tremendous blow to Zacian's worldview.

For a moment, Zacian felt as though his brain was no longer enough.

Then, while Zacian was lost in confusion...

Bang!

A silver streak struck Zacian in the forehead.

"Ah, Zacian, sorry. Jirachi's Comet
