"Lei Meng?"

Red Fire looked doubtfully at the bald, burly man in the distance and gradually walked closer.

He remembered the distinctive scar on Lei Meng's arm clearly. But hadn't Lei Meng gone missing while on a mission some time ago?

How could he be in Mark's Parallel Time-Space?

As he pondered this, Red Fire suddenly noticed the pattern on Lei Meng's short-sleeved shirt.

"Clear Stream Gym's uniform?"

Red Fire continued forward. John Two also noticed Red Fire's voice and turned around in confusion, a hint of surprise appearing on his face.

"You're... Red Fire from the Resource Department?"

John Two noticed the mole near Red Fire's forehead. Then his pupils contracted slightly as he saw Mark surrounded in the distance by Pokémon such as Jirachi and Mew.

It was not hard to guess what had happened.

John Two said, "Did you just join Clear Stream Gym?"

Red Fire nodded, his face full of surprise. "Lei Meng, it really is you. So you joined Mark's Clear Stream Gym. Have you been at Mark's Clear Stream Gym all this time? I was even planning to find you for a few drinks some time ago..."

Although they worked in different departments and did not see each other often, their personalities got along well, and they frequently drank together.

Just as Red Fire finished speaking, he suddenly thought of something.

After Jirachi, Mew, and the other Pokémon had force-fed that potion to Deru Ang and the other four, all five of them had become muddleheaded and completely forgotten their past memories.

Yet Lei Meng clearly still remembered him.

In other words, Lei Meng had not drunk those potions.

As he thought, Red Fire glanced back at Mark. Unfortunately, with Mark nearby, it was not convenient for him to ask Lei Meng too much.
