Hoopa Confined's Solo Challenge (Part 2)

As he spoke, a Pokémon clad in white armor stepped before Hoopa. It was Golisopod.

A pure white Aura surged from Golisopod's body, then flowed through its arm and into Hoopa's body. Hoopa's eyes widened.

Mark said, "Like you, Golisopod was once a timid Pokémon. You might not have been able to comprehend the Aura it releases before, but now, you should be able to feel it.

"Remember how this Aura is activated. Whenever you feel afraid or uncertain, activate this Aura. It may not give you much power, but it can help summon the courage to face adversity.

"As for the rest, trust in the results of your hard work and training during this time. They won't let you down."

Hoopa nodded heavily.

After thanking Golisopod, Hoopa Confined clenched the Wish Tag Jirachi had given it.

The next moment.

A ring appeared before Hoopa. Without any hesitation, Hoopa Confined passed through it...

A moment ago, Jirachi, Mew, Leafeon, and the others had still been cheering in its ears. The next, every sound had vanished, and Hoopa found itself in an utterly silent, dark space.

Then Hoopa regretted it.

Hoopa Confined nervously looked around. When Mark, Jirachi, Mew, and the other Pokémon had been nearby just moments ago, it had felt full of courage. Yet the instant it arrived in this pitch-black place, it became incomparably tense.

"If I'd known, Lord Hoopa shouldn't have tried to act tough. Mark should have come with me."

"If Mark, Mewtwo, Rayquaza, and Jirachi and Mew had all come, Lord Hoopa wouldn't be scared!"

Hoopa Confined irritably scratched its head. Suddenly sensing something, its body dissolved into a cloud of smoke.

Not long after, the smoke gathered again, and Hoopa's body returned to normal.
