Above Fallen Sky Mountain, after Rayquaza departed, the sea-like silver plasma clouds did not disperse. Instead, they continued churning through the sky.
What was more, the silver currents in the sky even showed signs of spreading farther outward.
A little creature with a star-shaped head and a small white cat appeared one after the other, playing amid the plasma clouds.
They were Jirachi and Mew.
Although these silver thunderclouds were extremely powerful and retained some of Rayquaza's might, ionizing any matter they touched and turning it into plasma as well, the two Pokémon had gone through Combat Training and suffered no real harm.
Jirachi was naturally quite durable and treated the electric flashes like a bath.
Mew, meanwhile, relied on some kind of evasion technique. Every silver current that encountered Mew would naturally veer away.
The little one was as slippery as a loach, and none of the plasma currents could remain on Mew's body.
"By the way, Mew, did you find Rayquaza?"
"Mew mew~"
Little Mew darted back and forth through the nearby plasma thunderclouds and shook its head. Rayquaza seemed to have vanished.
"Then Hoopa, did you see Rayquaza?"
Compared to Mew and Jirachi, Hoopa's defenses against these silver plasma currents were somewhat weaker.
Once one of those currents stuck to its body, it was impossible to shake off, and it brought piercing pain.
At that moment, Hoopa Confined had a ring above, below, left, right, before, and behind it. The six rings absorbed the silver currents approaching it.
Though some currents would occasionally splash onto Hoopa, they were quickly absorbed by the rings. Hoopa was generally holding up well enough.
Still, despite the protection of the rings, Hoopa was baring its teeth in pain. It clearly was not having a good time.
