New Industrial District.
Goblin Technology's workshop.
Inside the factory building piled with all kinds of parts stood a rather punk-looking three-wheeled motorcycle.
Unlike ordinary motorcycles, this thing not only had tires half a man tall, but its engine was absurdly huge. Since the engine was taller than the seat, it had to be mounted on the side of the motorcycle and supported by an extra wheel. From a distance, it looked like a three-wheeler with a protruding front and rear.
The engine itself had a rather distinctive design, shaped like a sweet-potato roasting stove, with a round feed port on top. Set by the roadside alone, it could easily be mistaken for an outdoor trash can.
In fact, that excessively spacious feed port had been deliberately designed that way to make it easier for the driver to add firewood.
Walking beside the Administrator, Mosquito excitedly introduced his latest invention.
"This is a firewood engine modeled after the Legion's standard light truck engine, designed specifically for the terrain around Clear Spring City!"
"After some simple modifications, it is now even better adapted to bumpy environments. Even if it bounces around in a mud pit, the engine won't accidentally stall. Our soldiers will no longer have to use their rifle butts to hold the wood inside the feed port!"
"And this motorcycle is also a masterpiece of Goblin Technology. I call it—'Death Breath'!"
"How is it? Doesn't it look cool?"
In a sense, it really was pretty cool.
It was just that Chu Guang felt the name was somewhat unlucky, as though anyone who rode it was destined never to return.
Still, setting that aside, the thing was quite interesting. The engine's principles were probably similar to those of a wood gasifier.
The trash-can-shaped feed port connected to an iron-barrel-like device and
