Most of the medical staff currently working here were temporary workers trained by Heya, recruited mainly from literate refugees. On one hand, they assisted Heya with necessary experiments on wastelanders; on the other, they handled medical care and rescue work.

They did not even need to be cured. As long as they did not die, that was enough.
The spacious room contained more than fifty wooden single beds, all of them occupied.
