Vault 404's infirmary.
Luo Hua, lying flat on the scanning bed, opened his eyes. A silvery-white ceiling filled his vision. He tried to sit up, only to find that the anesthetic had yet to wear off. His body simply would not obey him.
Except for his left hand—
Staring at the bionic prosthesis before him, he involuntarily swallowed.

"Are you from the Academy?"
"That's right. Vault 404's Academy branch. I'm the dean here."
Making a joke to ease the atmosphere based on the grand promises Chu Guang had painted for him, Yin Fang retracted the hair-thin blades into the ports on the inside of his forearm.
Looking at the man lying on the scanning bed, he smiled faintly and continued.
"Welcome to Vault 404. Besides being the dean of the Academy branch, I'm also the leader of the expedition team here. Oh, and the bionic organs on your body were pretty interesting. I opened them up for a look just now. You don't mind, do you?"
Luo Hua replied helplessly.
"...Would it matter if I did?"
"Not really. It's already done." Yin Fang
