Dusk gradually fell.
Outside Horn Fortress, on the endless wilderness, soldiers of the Lion Kingdom crouched in the trenches, gnawing on dry rations when they suddenly spotted white flags rising above the distant bunkers.
At first, the soldiers thought they were seeing things.

Unsure whether it was a trap set by the Legion, the centurion did not dare delay and immediately reported the news to his superiors.
