For the first time in ages, Chu Guang slept in. He did not leave Resurrection Square until nine in the morning, then slowly wandered over to the snack street north of the outpost, ordered two baskets of soup dumplings, two baskets of steamed dumplings, and three cups of soy milk, then found an inconspicuous private table at Zhang Hai's noodle stall.
Though the carbs and calories in this meal were explosive, with his metabolism and digestive capacity, it was nothing much.

Milky white steam drifted from the huge pot, and customers flowed endlessly past the stall.
As usual, Zhang Hai, the noodle master, was busy and fulfilled. His head was practically buried in the pot, and he had no time to look up as he shouted over it.
"Coming right up! Thin-cut or thick-cut?"
Chu Guang smiled.
"Thin. Let me see just how thin your thinnest cut can be."
It was the first time Zhang Hai had heard someone specifically ask him to slice the meat thinner, and he was immediately amused.
"Heh, you must be joking. My thinnest—" He had just raised his head to see which brother it was when he froze at the sight through the white steam. "Holy shit, Administrator?!"
