In the real world, Baron Mordo had just removed Doctor Strange's handcuffs when a violent explosion erupted, blasting them both away once more. The two hurriedly pulled America into hiding. Peeking out, they discovered it was Jean Grey. Her state was strange; she wore no expression as she floated in the air, her eyes filled with blackness while dark energy swirled around her.
Opposite her stood Scarlet Witch. Her expression was more solemn than ever, making it clear that Jean Grey now posed a tremendous threat to her.
The two women floated in midair, staring directly at each other. Their auras were utterly terrifying. At any rate, Doctor Strange and Baron Mordo were hiding behind a pillar, their faces filled with terror.
What exactly was going on with these two?
