"No idea, Your Majesty. They seemed to appear out of nowhere."
The guard in golden armor replied, equally clueless about the matter.
The not particularly powerful Asgardian guards could barely hold back the beasts Gorr had summoned. Only elites like Valkyries could deal with them easily.
"Damn it."
Valkyries looked thoroughly displeased. Asgard was facing danger once again, yet Thor, the Odin Family's sole remaining heir, had vanished who knew where!
Especially whenever she heard these people calling her "Your Majesty," her teeth itched with fury.

If she truly were Asgard's monarch, she would have long since called upon the Power of Asgard and wiped out every last one of these beasts. Why would she need to put up with this nonsense?
Especially when Valkyries looked at Asgard's current defensive forces, she was left speechless.
The Asgard of old had possessed a truly formidable army. There was not a single nation in the Nine Realms that would not give it a thumbs-up. But Asgard now?
