The Spirit Hall Empire defeated its enemies while the Evil Emperor was driven from the Star Dou Great Forest, and the story followed Huo Yuhao and the rise of Qian Daoliu. It then traced Qian Daoliu’s rivalry with Tang Chen, Lin Yu’s birth and childhood, and his growing friendship with Qian Renxue.

• Lin Yifeng killed Xu Tianlong, and the Sun Moon Empire surrendered as the Spirit Hall Empire united the continent and began developing Soul Tools.
• Di Tian defeated the Evil Emperor, while ten thousand years later Huo Yuhao gained the Sky Dream Ice Silkworm as his Spirit Ring and received Lin Yun and Qian Ling’er’s help on his way to Spirit Hall Academy.
• Qian Daoliu awakened a Six-Winged Angel Martial Soul and, alongside Tang Chen and Chen Jianjun, fought an Evil Spirit Master who was ultimately killed by Golden Crocodile Douluo.
• Qian Daoliu defeated Chen Jianjun and Tang Chen in their contests, completed the Eight Angel Trials, became a Titled Douluo, and later fought Tang Chen to a draw at level 99.
• Qian Daoliu and Tang Chen traveled to Sea God Island, where both lost to Bo Saixi and competed for her affection, but Bo Saixi fell in love with Tang Chen.
• Tang Chen became trapped as the King of Slaughter, Chen Jianjun died after losing to Qian Daoliu, and Lin Yu was born to Lin Tian and Lin Nian.
• After Lin Nian died fighting criminals, Lin Tian raised Lin Yu, while Qian Renxue moved into the Angel Clan Territory and began training with the youths.
• Qian Renxue visited Lin Yu after learning she had been punished for saving a baby bird, offered to get her punishment excused, and went out to play with her.
