A dazzling radiance enveloped everyone. In an instant, their souls and consciousnesses seemed to be pulled into a strange space. There, they lost their memories, and a world shaped by the beautiful wishes deep in their hearts appeared before them.
When Moriyue opened his eyes again, he found himself lying on a hospital bed. Upon seeing that he was awake, the nurse hurried out. Moriyue took a deep breath.
"My memories are intact. Did something go wrong with the Sheep Talisman? The Kotoamatsukami I prepared in advance didn't activate either, so is all this really Genjutsu?" Moriyue scratched his head and took the opportunity to examine his surroundings.
It was a hospital room with only one window. It seemed to be evening, and the only light in the room was the ceiling lamp above him, flickering intermittently as though it had fallen into disrepair long ago.
The room was very small, and so was the bed Moriyue lay on. It was like an ordinary single bed, except the part where Moriyue lay was slightly wider.
Moriyue sat up and looked around the room. It should have been part of a hospital, but he was not certain, because he had no memory of ever coming to such a place.
"Hey! Young man, you're finally awake. You scared this old man half to death!" An old man in his sixties suddenly entered through the ward door, wearing a beaming smile.
The old man held a bowl of pitch-black medicine. Its stench was overwhelming, making Moriyue frown. He found the smell unbearable, but he did not dare say so casually. He vaguely felt that this Tsukuyomi world was strange.
The old man placed the medicine on the cabinet beside the bed, then sat down next to him and said with a smile, "Your
